GBI was so excited to order and then receive this guide book. I’m a huge fan of dog walking and guide books, and with the number of books I currently own, believed this to be a great addition to my small library. I was put off by the price, but then ordered it anyway! When it eventually arrived (took an age, but never mind.) I can honestly say I have never been more disappointed in a guide book. I felt the information was not particularly useful and certainly didn’t offer much more than a list of town and places you could visit. Oh and a few places you could stay. Nothing that you couldn’t find on a dog friendly holiday cottage website really. And for the high price I expected more. I just don’t see the point of this book. I have returned it (they did not offer a free return and the postage was over £3 - it’s a heavy book!) and I hope they refund the original price I paid. If you have read this far, save yourself the bother of buying this book and go back to online search options. Much cheaper.

GBThe book is really useful and the design is really easy to follow but there are two areas where it was a little frustrating. Firstly can you include higher end hotels and restaurants. Secondly you need to spread dog friendly accommodation etc throughout each area and not just focus on one key area. As an example if you were looking to go to Devon there is a lot of info on restaurants etc in Exeter -which is the last place you would go on holiday in Devon! The book is in the car ready for our next adventure and we are looking forward to trying out some of the places recommended. In most places dog friendly actually means dog tolerant so books like this help to sort which places are best.

GBAfter two failed payment attempts and an exchange of messages on instagram I finally received a package but it contained the wrong item. It was resolved swiftly and the book looks good but I wouldn’t order from the same website / store again.
