We look back on another great year for No Fuss Travel Guides!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year…
As we approach the end of 2025, the time has come for the No Fuss Travel Guides team to reflect on the highlights of the year. It’s been a busy one, with five new guidebooks released, a new travel journal, and even a card game!
New guidebooks and products released in 2025…
With these exciting new releases, there’s plenty to be proud of as this year draws to a close. So, as we crack open the mulled wine, warm up the mince pies, and toast another stellar year for No Fuss Travel Guides, it’s over to our team members to share their personal highlights!

ROBBIE ROAMS
One of my absolute favourite 2025 moments was from my road trip to France. It came as I was winding my way through the Alps. Somehow, with every bend in the road the scenery levelled up – bigger, bolder, more dramatic – until I rolled into La Grave, a tiny ski resort tucked into the mountains.
I ended up parking there for the night in an empty resort car park, with completely unreal views of La Meije towering just shy of 4,000 metres. Having the whole place to myself, then waking up to that view… honestly, it’s one of those memories that sticks for life. It even made its way onto the front cover of my Road Trip France guidebook. A properly special travel moment!

DANI
For me, it has to be launching our very first city pocket guidebook! It feels like such a long time ago now thinking back to January, but kicking off the year with our Dublin City Guide definitely felt like a huge milestone for the brand.
This one was a real passion project, from working on the initial design of the city guides to researching all the content alongside the team. The trip to Dublin right after the new year with the No Fuss team made it even better. I’ve got lots of fun memories: climbing an extremely large chair at the Leprechaun Museum, stepping back in time aboard the Jeanie Johnston, having a few pints of Guinness and discovering I’m absolutely terrible at axe throwing (though still great fun).
Seeing the finished product was a huge highlight, and it’s been amazing to see this grow into a whole series of city guides, with even more to come next year!

LAURA
I’m proud of all the new products we launched in 2025 but I particularly enjoyed working on the Road Trip Logbook, Planner & Travel Journal. With our guidebooks, we provide details of suggested itineraries and must-see attractions, but the new journal lets road-trippers tell their own story! They get to plan and log their journey themselves, creating a lasting memento of their adventures. Plus, it contains conversation starters and puzzles to ensure nobody gets bored on their travels!
It’s always exciting to work on a completely different product and think about how our customers might use it for their own trips. It was an interesting challenge to develop the journal from scratch, and I am so pleased with how it turned out. Seeing the product move from the initial planning stage through to completion has been really satisfying. I even put it to the test myself when planning my own road trip to Ireland!

ELLE
My 2025 highlight has been getting to join the No Fuss Travel Guides team, and one of the best parts so far was heading to Edinburgh in May to gather content and research for our upcoming Edinburgh City Guide. We spent a few days exploring the city’s highlights, discovering hidden corners, and gathering personal anecdotes and photos for the book.
My favourite experience was the Mary King’s Close tour – fascinating, a little spooky, and the perfect way to get a feel for the city’s rich history. And of course, we made sure to sample plenty of local food along the way… all in the name of research! I’m now excited to get stuck into 2026’s guides and content!

One of my standout highlights this year was helping the team to promote the Camping Conversations Card Game!
It was the first product released since I joined in September 2025, so it felt like my first real dive into the product-creation process. Since I mostly work on the finance and admin side at No Fuss Travel Guides, I don’t often get the chance to be involved in product projects, but meeting up with the team and helping with the shoot was so much fun!
As someone still fairly new to the company, it was also an amazing way to get to know everyone better with all the travel chats we had! I absolutely loved the game, it was really engaging, funny, and so creative.

HEATHER
My highlight was joining the No Fuss team in October and getting straight to work on the exciting new Peak District book! It was a privilege to support the team with the development of such a superb new publication. Plus, I felt personally invested as I’d recently enjoyed a few memorable day trips in the Peaks.
I remember gingerly walking down the stone steps to Lud’s Church, a magical and mysterious place that really captured my imagination. I’d also visited the picturesque town of Bakewell – yes, of course, pudding was involved! – and roamed the impressive grounds of the Chatsworth Estate with my family. We took the steps through the medieval Stand Wood to the Hunting Tower, where we were slightly startled to see a lone man praying! The views were spectacular and he couldn’t have picked a more tranquil spot (until we rocked up, that is)! I can’t wait to revisit the Peaks now after my deep dive into the guidebook!
Ready for more?
We hope you have enjoyed reading our team’s 2025 highlights. It’s been a great year for No Fuss Travel Guides and with more exciting projects on the way, there’s a lot to look forward to in 2026. Watch this space!
